A Little Bit About Me

I am forty something. A passionate foodie. A spreadsheet fanatic. A chatter box. A lover of new ideas and old style traditions. I thrive on a challenge.

I now have 30 years in food and retail under my expanding belt, from working weekends in local shops through my teenage years, to large corporations suchas John Lewis Partnership, Premier Foods, Safeway, Musgrave and Spar and latterly with smaller award winning start ups.

I continue my passion by launching brands of my own, keeping my skills relevant and allowing me to say "I can relate to what you are going through" with my first hand experience. And I can say I am no One Hit Wonder!

The Curious Cheese Company (which I own with 2 business partners) www.curiouscheese.co.uk launched in Sainsbury's in February 2018. Now a Theo Paphitis Small Business Sunday winner, it is exceeding forecast and expansion plans are in place. I also have other innovative products that I am working on that will be brought to market in 2018.

In 2018 I was recognised as an Enterprise Nation Top 50 adviser, and returned again as a Great Taste Award judge with The Guild of Fine Foods. I was also a finalist in the Start-Up category at the Women in Business Awards 2018.

So with my many years tucked away and having worked in most FMCG categories; Fresh, Frozen, Grocery, BWS, Bakery etc etc I bring to the table a wealth of ideas, experience, tenacity, resilience, patience and positivity.

Merchandising, Point of Sale, Packaging Design, Presentations, Data Analysis, Competitor Analysis, Category Analysis, Market Research, Invoicing, Deliveries, Supply Chain, Finding new customers, Marketing, Social Media, Account Management, Business Reporting, Recruitment, sourcing, New Line Forms, Barcodes, Recipe Creation, In Store Sampling, Door to Door selling, Space Planning...and so I go on....

Having earned my stripes in Retail Inc, I am flying solo offering my knowledge, experience and time to those who need me as your Girl Friday. One day at a time.

I can't wait to hear your story.
